We’re going green!

We’re planning to start using renewable energy to power our computers. We’ll be taking advantage of the high levels of sunlight in Nigeria (Average mean temperature of 27.4°C in Otukpo where the school is based) and deploying solar powered computers that our students can code on.

Our solar powered computer kits consists of:

• 1x 10" Touch screen (Usb powered)
• 1x Raspberry pi 4B or 400 (A low power portable computer: Raspberry Pi Website)
• 1x Portable solar panel (Can provide an average of 4 hours worth of charge for the rasberry pi)
• 1x Powerbank
